March Madness: The Road to the Championship

            As NCAA March Madness is only a few weeks away, our experts here at Dunk City Delight take an in depth look at some of their favorite teams to watch out for. Kansas(24-3) :  Kansas made a statement with its hard-fought road victory over Baylor on Saturday in a battle between two national title contenders. The Jayhawks (24-3, 13-1) avenged a Jan. 11 loss to Baylor and still have one more loss than the Bears. But Saturday's win should push Kansas to the top overall No. 1. That's because Kansas now features a nation-leading 11 Quadrant 1 (top-30 home, top-75 road) wins and the country's best strength of schedule. NBA All Star Weekend: Our Predictions

As we head into All Star Weekend here in the NBA, one of the most anticipated weekends in all of U.S. sports, there is a lot to take into consideration before all of the fun begins. For the second year in a row, Giannis Antentokounmpo and Lebron James were elected as team captains for the All Star Game, and were allowed to pick their teams from the other players selected for the game. Dunk contest veterans Aaron Gordon and Dwight Howard, along with high flyers Derrick Jones Jr. and Pat Connaughton. The skills competition will allow certain players to participate in an obstacle course that is constantly changing so it’ll be a surprise to us all and should make for a thrilling contest this year. As for the Three Point Shootout, there are plenty of sharp-shooting talents present, like first-time all stars Devin Booker and Trae Young. The Skills Challenge will feature many of the young and rising stars in the league, such as Jayson Tatum and Spencer Dinwiddie. We’re going to be breaking

Mourning the loss of NBA super star, Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant: An Inspiration On and Off the Basketball Court Photo Credit: Inews Network On January 26,2020, the world lost Kobe Bryant. He was an inspiration to many and will be cemented in history as one of the greatest basketball players ever to grace the court. Growing up in this generation of basketball, Kobe Bryant was one of the first basketball players that we were all introduced to. He was a role model for many of us, and even if not, he was still one of the most respected celebrities of that time. This loss really hits close to home because he's been a significant figure for all of ours lives, and it's still hard to comprehend that he isn't with us anymore. It seems as if everyone took this loss very personal, as many celebrities and other athletes paid their condolences, either online or on the court.
